Pierre-emerick Aubameyang Named As The Premier League Player Of The Month

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been confirmed as the Premier League Player of the Month for September. The Arsenal striker beat the likes of Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, Manchester City’s assist machine Kevin De Bruyne, a rejuvenated Riyad Mahrez and Tottenham forward Son Heung-min.

Aubameyang began the month by scoring the equaliser in the north London derby and struck twice in a 2-2 draw against Watford. The Gabon international notched a dramatic late winning goal with a sumptuous free kick against Aston Villa and ended September with a smartly taken goal in a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
